PSL-9 registration process commences
LAHORE: The registration process for foreign players has officially commenced for the ninth edition of the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL), scheduled to take place from February 8 to March 24.
In addition to opening the registration window for foreign players, the category renewals for local players will be finalised and released in the near future, a PCB official said.
Following these category renewals, the trade and retention window will be opened. During this phase, the pick order for the player draft for the upcoming season will also be shared with the teams.
The retentions and trades are expected to be completed before the HBL PSL 9 Player Draft, which is tentatively scheduled for mid-December. This timeline coincides with the conclusion of the National T20 tournament, with the final of the National T20 set to be played on December 10 in Karachi.
