DERA ISMAIL KHAN: A personnel of FC sustained injuries in exchange of fire with militants in the limits of Darazinda Police Station on Monday.
The police said that militants equipped with sophisticated weapons stormed the office of Alhaj Gas and Oil Company and opened indiscriminate fire on the office.Upon receiving information, the police party headed by Station House Officer Din Muhammad Khan rushed to the spot and challenged the attackers.
The militants and police traded for some time but later the militants fled the scene. The police said that FC Hawaldar Taj Muhammad sustained injuries in the exchange of fire.The injured personnel was shifted to the hospital where his condition was stated to be stable.
