Model colleges get new principals

Islamabad: Within days of assuming the office, Federal Directorate of Education Director General Dr. Ali Ahmad Kharal has ordered the transfer and posting of several principals of Islamabad model colleges.

The orders were immediately complied with by the relevant official i.e. FDE Director (Model Colleges) Professor Dr. Tariq Masood.

According to a notification issued by him and seen by ‘The News’, IMCB G-11/I principal Dr. Javed Kausar has been posted to IMCB F-8/4, IMCB F-10/3 Principal Dr. Shahid Haseeb to IMCB F-7/3, IMCB I-8/3 Principal Aslam Kiani to IMCB G-10/4, IMCB F-11/3 Principal Hafiz Muhammad Shakeel to IMCB I-10/1, IMCB F-11/1 Principal Dr. Javed Kausar to IMCB G-11/1 and IMCB F-7/3 principal Professor Dr. Mohammad Aslam Farrukh to IMCB F-8/3, while three associate professors including Inamullah Waqar, Dr. Yaseen Afridi and Sarfraz Ahmad have been appointed the principals of IMCB I-8/3, IMCB F-11/3 and IMCB F-11/1 respectively.

Most of the appointments have been made on vacant posts.  Also, two principals (BPS-19) of IMSG (former FG schools) have been promoted to the posts of principals (BPS-20).  The two, including Farida Yasmin and Parveen Akhtar, will be on probation for one year.
