Hamza clinches junior tennis title

KARACHI: Favourite Hamza Bin Rehan clinched the boys’ singles title after beating Mohammad Said in the final in the second leg of the ATF Pakistan 14 & Under Super Series Tennis championships 2016 on Thursday.
The match was scheduled to be played at S Dilawar Abbas PTF Tennis Complex in Islamabad, but due to heavy rain, all the matches were moved to Nasir Jaffer’s Farmhouse indoor tennis courts at Chak Shahzad.
Hamza played impressively and outclassed his opponent, recording a formidable 6-1, 6-0 triumph.
In the boys’ doubles final, Hamza-Zaid duo claimed the title in style, beating Sami Zeb and Subhan Bin Salik 6-0, 6-0.
In the boys’ singles consolation final, Nailand Abbas defeated Sami Zeb Khan in straight sets 6-4, 6-2.
