A campus of the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) will be built in DHA City Karachi and a memorandum of understanding was signed to this effect on Tuesday.
Corps Commander Karachi Lt General Naveed Mukhtar, was the chief guest at the ceremony while IBA’s dean and director Dr Ishrat Hussain and Administrator DHA City Karachi Brig Zubair Ahmed were also present on the occasion.
Lt General Naveed Mukhtar commended IBA’s initiative to establish its new campus in DHA City Karachi and said it will help in promotion of quality education.
In his address, Dr Ishrat Hussain, thanked the Pakistan Army and the DHA Administration for its help for constructing a new campus in DHA City Karachi. He reiterated that IBA was committed for producing dynamic and forward-looking leaders who could produce innovative and creative solutions for addressing the pressing needs of the country.
He said the IBA campus in DHA City Karachi will harness and nurture the best talent from the country
and equip them with renewed confidence and intellectual curiosity of professional dynamism.
Administrator DHA City Karachi Brig Zubair in his speech said DHA attached the highest priority to promotion of education as a tangible measure to bring socio-economic development of the society. He said DHA was establishing a dedicated Education District in DHA City Karachi that will be spread over 103 acres where five national and international renowned educational institutions will establish their campuses.
