ABE-UK, City University sign MoU

An accreditation agreement was signed here between City University of Science & IT Peshawar and Association of Business Executives (ABE-UK) for improving university educational standard and academic ranking.

It was the part of capacity building programmes jointly launched by the two sides for long-term cooperation strengthening academic activities and providing educational services to the students.

Under the agreement, the two institutions will collaborate for launching various diploma courses accredited by ABE- K and HEC-Pakistan in the fields of Human Resource Management, Business Management, Travel, Tourism & Hospitality Management, Financial Management, Marketing Management and Entrepreneurship.

The ceremony was represented by President City University Peshawar Muhammad Sabur Sethi, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Attaullah Shah, Director Consultancy and Research Centre Islamabad Saqib Farooq Chohan and Chief executive officer ABE-UK Gareth Robinson.

It was decided that the City University will offer internationally accredited courses in line with the approved curriculum of HEC for the aspiring students and capacity building programmes for mid-career and entry level managers.

According to Dr. Attaullah Shah they were also trying to strengthen linkages and cooperation with national and international institutions and industrial sector to provide on-job training and skill to their students. The agreement was a step forward to acquire global reorganization for the University. They have also started youth career development programme to ensure better future for their students.
