Prince William breaks protocol for heartwarming encounter

Prince William, the Prince of Wales delighted royal fans with an unexpected gesture.

During his visit to South London, the future King of Britain stopped his vehicle to personally greet a supporter who shouted some sweet words for Prince.

William was leaving the Prince of Peckham pub after an engagement focused on community wellbeing when a group of excited onlookers began cheering as his car drive away.

However, one fan's enthusiastic cry of "I love you, bro!" caught William's attention.

William responded in a rare move as he stopped his vehicle, breaking the royal protocol as the royals don't often stop the car to meet people, and extended his arm from the window to shake the fan's hand.

This move prompted cheers from the crowd gathered nearby. "Thanks! Bye, guys," the eldest son of King Charles responded before continuing his journey. A fan said, "I can't believe it!" which made a security officer laughed.

Prince William had been visiting The Prince of Peckham pub to learn more about its community-focused initiatives aimed at reducing loneliness and strengthening local connections.

The official instagram handle of the Prince and Princess of Wales posted photos from William's visit. The caption of the post read: "Spaces that bring people together."

It continued, "At The Prince of Peckham Pub, a community-led space founded on the belief that pubs can be places for everyone."

"Hearing about initiatives such as Chatty Patty, which offers free tea, conversation and companionship each week, helping to reduce loneliness and create meaningful local connection and community," the caption concluded.
