Princess Eugenie and Beatrice have been issued a stark warning as there are claims the York sisters may not attend the wedding of their cousin Peter Phillips next month.

The warning has come from a PR expert, according to the Daily Express.

The expert warned Beatrice and Eugenie that skipping their cousin’s wedding could “fuel more speculation” about family divisions.

Nick Ede says, “Attending Peter Phillips’ wedding would be a delicate balancing act for Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie because every public appearance they make is now viewed through the lens of the wider Royal Family drama.”

He continued: “On a personal level, of course, they should be there.

“Peter is their cousin, and the royals have always tried to present themselves as a close-knit family during important milestones like weddings. Not attending could actually fuel even more speculation about divisions within the family.”

Eugenie and Beatrice, the daughters of the disgraced Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson, were believed to have originally been invited to Peter Phillips and Harriet Sperling’s wedding on June 6.

Earlier, it was reported the royal sisters were going to attend the family occasion along with other members of the Royal Family.

However, over the last few days, it has been claimed that Eugenie and Beatrice will not be at the event.

They have reportedly changed their mind after Thames Valley Police confirmed that their investigation into Andrew, which started after he was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in February, will include all different types of misconduct, including alleged sexual misconduct.

This has put Andrew back in the headlines, which means his daughters will also generate plenty of attention when they make appearances.

This is believed to be something they want to avoid, especially on their cousin Peter’s wedding day.
