King Charles has reportedly adopted a meaningful strategy to meet his California-based grandchildren Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet soon.

According to a report by the OK! Magazine, the monarch believes that a reconciliation between his daughters-in-law Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle could lead to him seeing Archie and Lilibet.

The report, citing the royal insiders have claimed that King Charles is urging Meghan and Kate to squash their rift ahead of the Duchess' U.K. visit, which could pave the way for meeting with Archie and Lilibet.

He also feels that if Meghan and Kate resolve their feud soon, it could ultimately help ease tensions with the rest of the royal family particularly Harry and Prince William.

The insiders claimed, "The thinking is that the wives have become emotionally central to everything. Kate has [Prince] William's ear completely, and Meghan has [Prince] Harry's."

Meghan and Harry are set to return to Birmingham, England, later this summer for an event of Invictus Games.

And as per claims, Harry "desperately" wants his father King Charles, who is the head of the state to open the Invictus Games with him as a way to bury the hatchet next year.

The Sun reported in January, “Harry wants it to happen both for the games, and for their relationship. It’s his dream to have his father by his side.

"Invictus always invites Heads of State but Harry wants to go further with Charles involved in the opening ceremony."
