Kate Middleton, Prince William 'greatest challenge' as future king, queen revealed
Kate Middleton and Prince William are also not prepared to call Harry's bluff by sending him joyful birthday wishes
A royal expert has revealed the ‘greatest challenge’ for Kate Middleton and Prince William as future king and queen amid their ongoing rift with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.
Speaking to the OK! royal expert Katie Nicholl has said, "I think for Kate and William, the greatest challenge is going to be navigating their role as hands-on parents, and making sure they set the tone for the future of the monarchy.”
The royal expert further said, "That’s going to be very much part of the bigger picture when they are king and queen. They’ll be thinking ahead for future generations, so [the monarchy] doesn’t end with King William V, but continues with King George."
Katie has made these remarks amid the Prince and Princess of Wales rift with Meghan and Harry.
Commenting on the Wales family ties with the California-based royals, another royal expert Duncan Larcombe believes their lack of public acknowledgement of Harry 41tst birthday in September was a sure sign they are still smarting from his past wrongdoings.
The journalist also tells the OK! "Kate's silence spoke a thousand words.
"They didn't post anything on his birthday, which the royals normally would do. So Kate's message was loud and clear: the ball's not in our court, Harry – it's in yours."
"Neither Kate, nor William, can speak out publicly about Harry and Meghan. They have kept silent throughout all of this and rolled with all the punches, so they're forced into subtle, secret messaging – which is what this seems to be. They’re not prepared to call Harry’s bluff by sending him joyful birthday wishes, so they remain silent and avoid him at all costs,” he added.
