Ellen DeGeneres pens touching note for Stephen 'tWitch' Boss
The professional dancer tragically took away his own life three years ago
Ellen DeGeneres shares an emotional tribute for her late pal and colleague Stephen 'tWitch' Boss.
The former host took to her Instagram account to pen down a touching note for the beloved dancer, revealing that she has a tree as a living memorial in Boss' honor on her campus in Rwanda.
"I planted a tree for tWitch at my campus in Rwanda," DeGeneres shared. "This is what it looks like today. Look at all the beautiful life it nourishes every day. I miss you friend."
It is pertinent to mention that Boss, who worked as a DJ on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, tragically passed away by suicide three years ago. He was 40.
Boss's wife, Allison Holker, also posted a heartbreaking tribute to mark his third death anniversary.
Today is the 3-year Stephen tWitch Boss anniversary day 12/13/2022," Holker shared on Instagram. "We honor you and cherish all of our beautiful memories with you. We loved laughing, creating and dancing. We will love you forever."
Expressing her gratitude over the emotional tributes, including DeGeneres' memorial, Holker added, "I recently saw some beautiful posts. Thank you for your endless love and support. It means the world to me and my kids."
