Princess Diana’s brother Charles Spencer has shared a loved-up photo with partner Catrine Jarman after she and his former wife Karen Spencer settled a lawsuit that Jarman brought against the Countess.
Karen Spencer and Dr. Jarman have settled an ongoing lawsuit involving an alleged misuse of private information.
The spokesperson for Karen has confirmed, "Countess Spencer considers her position to have been fully vindicated"
She accepted an offer to bring the litigation to an end "without admission of unlawful conduct."
The statement issued by Karen spokesperson says, "Countess Spencer confirms that the legal proceedings brought against her by Cat Jarman have been resolved in an agreed settlement. Countess Spencer considers her position to have been fully vindicated."
Following this development, Prince William and Harry’s uncle took to Instagram and shared a photo with Jarman and wished the fans a very happy Christmas.
He said, “The 24 foot (nearly 8 metre) high Christmas tree is up at @althorphouse - and what a really fine tree it is.
“With thanks to the Althorp Forestry team for sourcing such a magnificent specimen.”
Charles Spencer added, “And a very Happy Christmas from Cat Jarman and me!”
Last year in June, Charles Spencer announced that he and Karen, a Canadian philanthropist, were divorcing after 13 years of marriage.
They share a daughter, 13-year-old Charlotte Diana.
He also confirmed his romance with Jarman in October 2024, telling The Times, "We are close."
He met Jarman when she came to Althorp House, the Spencer family's ancestral home in Northamptonshire, England, for an archeological dig in 2021.
Jarman and Spencer later teamed up to create The Rabbit Hole Detectives history podcast with Rev. Richard Coles in 2023, collaborating professionally.
