Oliver Hudson has gushed over his mother, Goldie Hawn.
Speaking to Us Weekly at the Make-A-Wish Foundation Gala at the Fairmont Century Plaza in Beverly Hills on Friday, December 5, Hudson revealed that he “wants to do a documentary” about Hawn's “fascinating” life.
He opened up about the deep emotional support he has received from his mother over the years, saying, “You know, my mom has been my therapist before I had a therapist.”
“She’s been my sounding board forever and ever. I mean, she’s the wisest woman that I know. She’s been through it all herself. You know, her story is amazing.”
Hudson went on to reflect on the strength, independence, and grit that have defined Hawn's journey.
“I want to do a documentary on her life because it’s truly fascinating — the independence, how she came up dancing in go go cages, living in New York City by herself and teaching kids to dance.”
He also highlighted how she has guided him through life's toughest questions.
“I mean, she’s been through it, and so she’s the person to go to when you have any sort of question or inkling of, ‘How do I do this?’ or, ‘How do I do that?’” he concluded.
For those unversed, Hawn shares daughter Kate Hudson and son Oliver Hudson with ex-husband Bill Hudson.
