Meghan Markle 'empathy' turns out to be 'masterstroke' of PR
Meghan Markle is told of PR move as father's gets his leg amputated
Meghan Markle told reaching out to ailing dad, Thomas Markle, is a great PR move.
The Duchess of Sussex, who has reportedly given up her estrangement from father and has tried to contact him hours after his leg got amputated, is reminded of the sympathy numbers.
Royal expert Katie Nichols tells The Sun’s Royal Exclusiveshow: “I think actually, that would be a masterstroke of PR, more than any other PR could possibly achieve.
“It would show compassion and empathy, two things that they talk about in so many contexts when it comes to their philanthropic work, but actions speak louder than words.”
And Katie Nicholl has said: “Indeed her brother and half-sister have said they’re really urging the Sussexes to reach out.”
Meanwhile, expert Richard Palmer said: “Yes, I think that if they were being counselled right, they would get in touch with him and she would try to fix things between them.”
Prince Harry left the Royal Family back in 2020 alongside wife Meghan Markle and son, Prince Archie. The couple later accused the Royal Family of showcasing racism towards their son and publicly shared their grievances on television. Harry and Meghan now live in California, where they also welcomed their daughter, Princess Lilibet.
