Jessica Alba reveals why one 'Fantastic Four' scene still haunts her
Jessica Alba recalls 'humiliating' moment from 'Fantastic Four' set
Jessica Alba opened up about filming bold scenes in the 2005 film Fantastic Four.
During a recent chat at the Red Sea Film Festival in Saudi Arabia on December 5, the 44-year-old actress confessed that the shooting of intimate scenes in the film was "humiliating," via New York Post.
"I thought that was awful. It was very humiliating in real life," she admitted.
Alba went on to explain, "I grew up with a pretty conservative family, and I am a pretty modest person. I dreaded that scene for weeks. I have a lot of whiplash from those days."
Regardless of it, Alba noted that her character of Sue Storm, “was a woman I looked up to.”
“She was very maternal and very kind, but also not a pushover; she spoke her mind," she remarked.
“She had a great moral compass," Alba shared of the role. "No matter who you are, you can look up to her. Oftentimes, the women in these stories need to be saved by a guy or the villain, the problem in the story. This was back then. It’s different now.”
It is pertinent to mention that Alba starred as Invisible Woman in the film along with Julian McMahon as Dr Doom, Michael Chiklis as The Thing, Chris Evans as The Human Torch, and Ioan Gruffudd as Mister Fantastic.
