Reba McEntire celebrates 70 years of life with more positive energy and legacy
Reba McEntire opened up about feeling happier than ever as she celebrated turning 70.
Reba shared that this chapter of her life has brought her more peace and joy than she ever imagined.
The country music icon told People that reaching this milestone age felt wonderful, adding, “I think I'm happier now than I've ever been in my life.
It’s amazing. It’s wonderful being 70 and getting to do what I get to do at the level I want to do it.”
Reba, who got engaged to actor Rex Linn in December, couldn’t help but gush about the man she loves.
While speaking warmly about him, she said: “I've never been loved by a man like Rex Linn. Rex is a very tender-hearted man, and I just love him with all my heart. He's a good guy. Real bashful though.”
Alongside her happy personal life, the I'm a Survivor singer continued to enjoy her role as a judge on The Voice, saying she was always excited to discover new talent.
“They find the best people. I am blown away every season,” she said.
In an earlier chat on The Drew Barrymore Show, Reba reflected on her 26-year marriage to Narvel Blackstock, which ended in 2015.
However, she further admitted that their relationship often felt more like business than romance. “He was part of the band, then became my manager, later on then my husband, but it was a situation that was always business."
Despite everything, Reba now seemed to be living her most content and fulfilled life.
