An additional district and sessions court Thursday handed over a minor to her mother after getting him recovered from illegal custody of his father.
Sumaia Bibi Walton filed a habeas corpus petition in the court, alleging that her husband Furqan had kept her three-year-old son illegally. She implored the court for the recovery of her son.
On her plea, the court appointed a bailiff. The bailiff raided the house of Furqan in Township and found the minor there. The bailiff produced the child before the court from where he was handed over to her mother.
