ISLAMABAD: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) on Monday charged Mohsin Ali and Kashif Kamran with the murder of senior MQM member Dr Imran Farooq in London. In a third challan presented in an anti-terrorism court, FIA directly declared Mohsin Ali and Kashif Kamran as murderers. The investigation report also carried a confessional statement of the two accused. The ATC, however, raised fresh objections in the challan and directed the FIA to remove them. Meanwhile, the court reserved its verdict about approving upper class facilities for the accused in jail and allowing them to meet their families. The ATC extended their remand for two more days and adjourned the hearing till February 10.
