PESHAWAR: The Galiyat Development Authority (GDA) on Friday submitted new master plan in the Peshawar High Court (PHC) for the development of Galiyat.
The lawyer for GDA, Asghar Khan Kundi submitted the master plan report in a division bench comprising Justice Yahya Afridi and Justice Syed Afsar Shah.
The GDA prepared the master plan on the court directive as earlier the DG GDA Nazar Hussain Shah on the court directives removed all the illegal structures, recovered the encroached land and took strict action against the powerful land mafia in Galiyat.
As per the master plan, it said that the government had released Rs105 million for further beautification and development of the visitors places in Galiyat. It was also stated that an entry fee of Rs30 for visitors was also withdrawn.
