Teacher pushes student from school roof

TOBA TEK SINGH: A teacher pushed a student from the roof of a private girls school for not doing homework at Sindhillianwali on Monday. Student Sehar Fatima was allegedly beaten by her teacher Ruqiyya for not doing homework on Saturday.

To it, she informed her parents, who complained to the headmistress and she snubbed the accused teacher. On Monday, when Sehar Fatima came to the school, the accused teacher took her to the roof of the school building and tortured her. Later, the teacher allegedly pushed her from the roof and she fell on the ground. As a result, her one leg was fractured. The student was shifted to the DHQ Hospital. When contacted, Arrouti police said that the student’s parents had so far not produced the medico-legal certificate.
