Anti-polio drive to being in Peshawar from March 4

PESHAWAR: The anti-polio drive in the city and tribal areas will begin on March 4.

 

According to Health Ministry sources during the three day drive, it is expected that 800,000 children will be vaccinated against polio. 22,000 teams have been formed to administer the polio drops.

 

Meanwhile in North and South Waziristan polio drops will not be administered to children due to security concerns.
