PFF completes scrutiny for Challenge Cup
LAHORE: The scrutiny of 24 teams, taking part in National Challenge Cup 2018, has been completed after scrutiny of 14 teams in Karachi.
The teams scrutinised in Karachi are K-Electric, PIA, National Bank of Pakistan, SNGPL, Karachi Port Trust, Pakistan Navy, Pakistan Petroleum Limited, PWD, Sindh Government Press, Gawadar Port Authority, SSGC, State Life Insurance, Civil Aviation Authority and Karachi United.
The teams which have already been scrutinised in different parts of the country are Pakistan Wapda, Pakistan Army, KRL, Pakistan Air Force, Falcon FC, Hazara Coal Company, Pakistan Ordnance Factories Wah, Ashraf Sugar Mills and Asia Ghee Mills. PFF National Challenge Cup will be played from April 20 to May 10 in Karachi in which all 24 teams will participate. Scrutiny Committee for Karachi included Shahzad Anwar (technical director PFF), Rahim Baksh Baloch (Secretary Sindh Football Association), Qamar Ali Qureshi, Zahid Taj, Mohammad Asif and Ghulam Shabbir. Scrutiny Committee for Lahore comprised Sajjad Mahmood (Director Competitions PFF) and Umer Zia Manager Competition PFF. Scrutiny Committee for Rawalpindi included Sajjad Mahmood (Director Competitions PFF), Irfan Khan NIazi, Khurram. Scrutiny Committee for Bahawalpur included Shaikh Iqbal and Umer Zia. Meanwhile General Secretary PFF Lt Col. (retd) Ahmed Yar Khan Lodhi has congratulated the members of scrutiny committee for carrying out the process smoothly.
