A step forward
According to a recent research study, girl students living in the urban centres mostly give preference to acquiring skilled education after passing their SSC exams. Women in Pakistan indeed constitute 50 percent of the population and their inclination towards courses such as beautician, cloth stitching, dress designing and embroidery is a positive indicator that will enhance their contribution in the economic growth and development of the country.
Through these courses, female students can start their own businesses from home with limited investment and thus create job opportunities for many others. While the incumbent government has taken some measures to prepare a skilled workforce in different fields, people expect it will do the needful to further encourage female participation in such courses.
