Justice Faisal Arab recommended as SHC CJ

JC wants Maqbool Baqar to be SC judge

ISLAMABAD: The National Judicial Commission (NJC) has recommended for the appointment of Justice Faisal Arab as the Chief Justice (CJ) of the Sindh High Court (SHC), the sitting chief justice of SHC Maqbool Baqar as a judge of the Supreme Court (SC) and Justice (retd) Riaz Ahmad as the chief justice of the Wafaqi Shariat Court.The recommendations were made in the meeting of NJC held under the Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Nasirul Mulk here on Wednesday.The NJC has sent these recommendations to the Parliamentary Committee.
