CM welcomes proposal to train engineers on mining techniques

PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Pervez Khattak has welcomed a proposal floated by Wah Noble Group to impart free training on modern blasting and mining techniques to all mining and civil engineers and other technicians working under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government.
He directed the Department of Minerals to seriously work out prospects of strong collaboration with WNG and said that such trainings would certainly prove helpful for the safe mining and blasting operations being carried out in the province for exploration and excavation of minerals and the civil works.
He was chairing a briefing given by a delegation of WNG headed by WNG Chief Executive Brigadier (r) Shirazullah Chaudhry at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat, said a handout.The chief minister appreciated the idea and directed all relevant provincial government departments, especially the Mineral and Communication & Works, and Energy and Power Departments to constantly coordinate with WNG and come out with a solid and feasible report on the proposed joint venture.
