Australia to help empower Pakistani female entrepreneurs
Islamabad Senior Trade Commissioner of Australian Trade Commission Nicola Watkinson has said that Australia is keen to empower women entrepreneurs of Pakistan so that they can play an active role in economic uplift of the country. She said that empowerment of women always has a very positive impact on society.

Senior Trade Commissioner of Australian Trade Commission Nicola Watkinson has said that Australia is keen to empower women entrepreneurs of Pakistan so that they can play an active role in economic uplift of the country.
She said that empowerment of women always has a very positive impact on society.
Talking to IWCCI Founder President Samina Fazil, President Zakia Hashmi and others, she said that Australia will extend all possible support to the delegation of artisans being sent there by TDAP.
Nicola Watkinson said that chances of cooperation between fashion industries of both countries are very bright and related people from Australia would be sent to Pakistan to apprise local industry of the trends in Australia. She said that women's empowerment initiatives undertaken by the Pakistani government have sent positive signals around the world.
Empowering women will help improve quality of life of people by reducing poverty in Pakistan, she said, adding that we aim at strengthening entrepreneurial and technical skills of women so that they can become more competitive. She said that one year of additional education provided to a woman increases income of a family by fifteen per cent which benefits family, community and whole of society.
Australia acknowledges great potential of Pakistani women and will provide them every opportunity to become financially independent. Speaking on the occasion, Samina Fazil said that Pakistani business women are facing difficulties which must be tackled on priority so that they can boost business to enhance their standard of living.
