Upon recommendations of the Departmental Promotion Committee, about 15 officials were promoted to grade 17 on Tuesday.
Officials said the notification for promotion of 15 officials was circulated by Additional Director General (HQ) Lahore Development Authority Amina Munir. As per notification, Staff Officer Muhammad Rashid has been promoted to the rank of Assistant Director (General Cadre/BS-17) on regular basis while four Private Secretaries (BS-17) Malik Mehboob Rabani, Muhammad Khalid, Muhammad Babar Ikram and Sheikh Nazir Ahmad have been promoted to the rank of Assistant Director (General Cadre/BS-17) on acting charge basis.
Muhammad Arshud, Sub Engineer (BS-11), has been promoted to the post of Assistant Director (Engineering/BS-17) on regular basis on possessing higher qualification BSc (Civil Engineering). Muhammad Qasim Khan, Circle Head Draftsman (BS-16), has been promoted to the post of Chief Draftsman (BS-17) on regular basis.
Six Secondary Schoolteachers including two male and six females have been granted uplift and upward mobility from BS-16 to BS-17.
These include Sajjad Anjum, Ijaz Ahmed, Asifa Kamran, Amna Tahir, Saima Munir, Sadia Hassan, Atiqa Rasheed and Fatima Habib.
Meanwhile, Director General Lahore Development Authority Ahad Khan Cheema has entrusted the charge of the post of Deputy Director in his own pay scale to Saad Bin Tariq, Assistant Director (Mechanical Engineering) working in the EME Directorate.
