THE week-long Library Week celebrated at the Information Technology University (ITU) concluded with a one-day book fair here Friday. ITU Vice-Chancellor Dr Umar Saif was chief guest at the closing ceremony. Speaking on the occasion, the VC said books were source of knowledge and universities should promote reading culture.
‘This activity would lead to promote research, creativity and innovation in academic environment’, he added. He said terrorism could be eliminated through such healthy activities.
