LAHORE
THE Concerned Citizens of Pakistan strongly condemned the tragic incident that took place in Shikarpur on Friday.
They said the government should take immediate action and provide security to all citizens. The governments both federal and provincial have failed in their duties. The lapses should be overcome and responsible people punished.
We stand with the families of the victims in this helpless situation. Compensation is the easy way out our future generations should be protected and the culprits punished. The government and all political parties have time and again failed to deliver in Sindh as elsewhere in Pakistan, they concluded.
Protest: Shia Ulema Council on Sunday protested against the Shikarpur incident. The protest was attended by a large number of members from Shia Ulema Council and JSO, who vehemently condemned the incident and slammed the Sindh government for its failure in securing citizens. They demanded stern punishment for terrorists and strict implementation of the death penalty against them. The demonstration was addressed by Hafiz Kazim Raza Naqvi, Allam Hassan Raza Qumi and Fakhar Abbas Buttar.
