Three ‘TTP men’ arrested

Karachi The Counter-Terrorism Department in an operation on Friday arrested three terrorists of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan’s Khalid Sajna Group. They were identified as Hassan Khan, Jamshed Khan and Qismat Shah and were arrested from Manghopir area. The law enforcers also recovered three pistols, hand grenades and explosives from the suspects’

The Counter-Terrorism Department in an operation on Friday arrested three terrorists of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan’s Khalid Sajna Group.
They were identified as Hassan Khan, Jamshed Khan and Qismat Shah and were arrested from Manghopir area.
The law enforcers also recovered three pistols, hand grenades and explosives from the suspects’ possession.
It was revealed during interrogation that the detained suspects were planning to target government installations, notable persons and kidnapping school children for ransom.

Robber killed
The Docks police killed a robber in a firing exchange when the deceased was looting a man in the fisheries area.
A man withdrew Rs200,000 from the branch of Bank Al-Habib within the remit of Docks police station. two men were waiting for him outside the bank and they tried to rob him of this cash.
However, personnel of Docks police promptly arrived there on motorcycles and the robbers opened fire. The policemen retaliated as a result of which one of the suspects was killed while the other fled.

Dacoit arrested
The District East police in the wee hours of Friday arrested three terrorists wanted in a number of cases.
SSP East Jawed Jiskani said the Rangers and East Zone police conducted a joint raid at a hideout situated on Jhangvi Road, within the remit of Mobina Town police station.
Two terrorists were arrested and they were identified as Farooq Baig and Liaquat Hussain Turk, while two 9mm pistols, hand grenades and two motorcycles were recovered from them, among other valuables which are being examined. During preliminary investigation the suspects revealed that they were involved in heinous crimes including target killing and extortion.
