The Institute of Space and Planetary Astrophysics (ISPA), University of Karachi (KU), will be organising a seminar titled ‘Scientific Aspects of Moon Sighting for Ramazan 1436’ at the university premises on Thursday (tomorrow) at 4pm.
The sighting of the new lunar crescent of Ramazan will be discussed in the event which will be attended by prominent astronomers, scientists and Ulema. The observations for Ramazan moon sighting will take place at ISPA Astronomical Observatory, KU on June 17 at sunset.
