The Karachi University has cancelled admissions of three candidates for submitting forged or tampered Hifz-e-Quran certificates.
KU Director Admissions Dr Khalid M Iraqi said on Thursday that on verification from the Wifaqul Madaris al-Arabia, Multan the Hifz-e-Quran certificates submitted by Saddam Khan son of Shamsheer Khan, Muhammad Saeed Khan son of Muhammad Haneef, and Aneesur Rehman Soomro were found forged or tampered.
The certificates were submitted by these candidates as a document to facilitate their admission to the university.
