Work on AWKU power plant begins
MARDAN: The foundation stone for the 2.5-megawatt power plant was laid at the Abdul Wali Khan University (AWKU) in Mardan. The Rs320 million project would be completed within seven months. This is the first project at any university in Pakistan for generating electricity from gas, coal and wastes.
