Choked sewerage floods streets

LALAMUSA: A choked sewerage near a fruit market could be not cleared even for the second day.

 

Dirty water from gutters and drains inundated streets in the area. Dirty water accumulated in front of the Government MC Girls Primary School. Students faced great problems to reach the school and their houses. Dirty water perturbed passersby, shopkeepers and other people. People from all walks of life have demanded of the authorities concerned to look into the matter.

 

COLLEGE HOLDS MILADUN NABI FUNCTION: Eid Miladun Nabi (PBUH) was celebrated at Government ID Janjua College for Women. Students recite Naats. Teachers and professors delivered speeches on the life of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).

 

VALENTINE DAY CELEBRATED: Valentine Day was celebrated. Flower sellers set up temporary shops in different areas including Main Bazaar. Young people purchased gifts from different shops.

 

FOUR ARRESTED IN MURDER CASE: Police have booked two brothers and two unidentified people in the murder of Ihtesham of Mohallah Qali Garden. He was shot dead on Wednesday in Chakar Mohallah. Nominated accused included Ali and his brother Hassan.
