PM policy on construction activity praised
Islamabad: The Punjab Board of Investment and Trade (PBIT) has hailed the Prime Minister Imran Khan's measures to help save the business community and daily wagers. In this connection, the PBIT Chairman Sardar Tanveer Ilyas has welcomed Prime Minister's decision to allow functioning of the constriction industry.
He observed that at least 40 industries like steel iron, bricks, cement, sanitary and electricity material are associated with the construction activity. Sardar Tanveer said the construction activity while enabling daily wagers earn their livelihood which they had lost during the last couple of weeks, would also contribute to the national economy. Moreover, he said the construction activity should also continue to help meet shortage of housing units in the country.
