Fake saints

This refers to the article, ‘Pakistan’s most un-Pakistani institution’ (November 27) by Ayaz Amir. Two men, Abdul Sattar Edhi and Dr Adibul Hasan Rizvi of the Sindh Institute of Urology & Transplantation, are rarely mentioned in our media. They do not have excessive money for commercial advertisements, unlike others in the country who rob the poor and buy their ‘sainthood’ in the media.
It is the mind of these two men due to which they find no need to advertise their achievements to give themselves satisfaction or happiness. It is rare to find such people nowadays. There are numerous such men who serve humanity but will never be heard of in this country because fake ‘saints’ occupy the media’s attention.
