The first phase

This refers to the editorial, ‘LB polls: the first phase’ (November 2). The results in Punjab and Sindh show that the elements who want to maintain the status quo in the country have outsmarted the forces of change.
Alas, no change can come about in this country and 98 percent of the population is destined to live under the rule of the influential two percent of the population.
