The CDA had recently announced an ‘overdue’ facelift of Islamabad. After some time, one could notice some lonely grass-cutters working in meridians along the busy roads where VIPs may happen to pass. Instead of doing such ‘cosmetic work’, roads need to be repaired and, in some cases, completely carpeted.
One such place is Sector G-13. In this sector, roads are in such a pathetic condition that once one enters this sector it seems as if one has landed on the surface of the moon. At some portions, even a four-wheeler cannot move. The CDA should give priority to such roads and improve the road conditions for the residents of Sector G-13.
