Credential inflation refers to the devaluation of educational or academic credentials over time and a corresponding decrease in the expected advantage given to a degree-holder in the job market.
Most of the countries’ younger generation are facing this problem but it is very common in our country. There are thousands of graduates who have degrees but their qualification has no value in the job market because our universities and other educational institutions confer degrees on the basis of social promotion, not on knowledge and skills. As a result, the rate of unemployment and crime is increasing day by day.
