A sane decision

Thankfully, better sense has prevailed. The unanimous parliamentary resolution calls upon the government to try to resolve the Yemen conflict diplomatically. Thankfully, better sense has prevailed. The unanimous parliamentary resolution calls upon the government to try to resolve the Yemen conflict diplomatically. It was a hard choice keeping in view our close ties with Saudi Arabia. The credit for taking this sane decision goes to our political leadership.
We are passing through a critical phase of our history. Our military is fighting against non-state actors on several fronts. We cannot afford to send our troops to fight someone else’s war.
