KARACHI: Pakistan’s Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi and his doubles partner G Muller from Luxemburg crashed out of Wimbledon, the third grand slam of the year, on Saturday.
The unseeded Aisam and Muller put up tough fight to the 10th seed French pair of P Herbert and N Mahut before going down in the second round of men’s doubles category.
The final score was 7-6(11-9), 6-7(4-7), 4-6, 4-6.
His exit means he will be available for Pakistan’s Davis Cup tie against Indonesia in Indonesia from July 14-16.
