ASI injured by Moharrar over minor issue in police station

HAFIZABAD: An ASI was injured by a Moharrar over a minor issue at Jalalpur Bhattian model police station on Friday.

Moharrar Ghulam Abbas and ASI Naveed Hussain quarreled with each other over a minor dispute in the police station. They slapped and abused each other. Later, Ghulam Abbas allegedly tortured ASI Naveed. The accused also broke his one arm. Meanwhile, District Police Officer Muhammad Masoom has taken notice of the incident and directed the DSP to submit a report in this regard.

FAMILY ROBBED: Three dacoits robbed a family of cash and valuables near Hunjranwanwala village on Friday. M Qasim, his wife and two children were on way when the dacoits intercepted them and robbed them of Rs 10,000 and gold ornaments.
