LAHORE:Punjab PMLN spokesperson Azma Bukhari has levelled allegations of rigging the Azad Kashmir elections on PTI.

In a statement issued here on Sunday, she said the polling process started in Lahore without polling agents of opposition parties. She said in Gujranwala, the deputy commissioner sent PMLN polling agents out from the polling stations.

The PMLN polling agents also registered complaints from Rawalpindi, she alleged, adding the situation was similar in Bahawalpur and Chiniot too. Talking about the polling situation in Lahore, Azma said there were 124 voters at Shadbagh polling station and the voters were not allowed to cast votes. Photographs and footage of various organisations being used were coming up on social media, Azma claimed. She claimed that the Election Commission of Azad Kashmir seemed to be failing to fulfill its responsibilities.

The Election Commission of Azad Kashmir has become controversial since day one, she maintained. She questioned why Federal Minister Ali Muhammad went inside the polling stations. She said PTI was a production of rigging and promoting this culture. Evidence of fraud is coming on social media even before the polling process begins, she added. Imran Khan's every theft is caught on the way, she said.
