Girl dies after falling into manhole

LAHORE: A five-year old girl died after falling into an open manhole while playing in the street in the Hanjarwal police area on Sunday.

The victim Momina, a daughter of a labourer of Shadiwal, was playing in the street when she fell into an open manhole and died. According to the police, the manhole was open and the girl suddenly fell into it and died. Police handed over the body to the heirs.
