Renaming of KP hospital flayed
PESHAWAR: The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Arbab Khizer Hayat has termed the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government’s act of changing the name of Nawaz Sharif Kidney Hospital, Swat, as biased decision. In a statement here, he said Prime Minister Imran Khan was afraid of Nawaz Sharif’s popularity that was why his name was being removed from development projects.
“Nawaz Sharif cannot be removed from the hearts of the people through such acts,” he said, adding, the Kidney hospital in Swat was not established through public exchequer. Nawaz Sharif had built the hospital when he was not prime minister, he added. The PML leader warned that Imran Khan’s name would also be removed from projects if the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) did not withdraw the decision.
