Complaint in SJC against NAB chiefAG seeks time for consultation with govt

ISLAMABAD: Attorney General Khalid Javed on Monday sought time for consultation with the government over the matter pertaining to a complaint filed against National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Justice (R) Javed Iqbal for misconduct.
A meeting of the Supreme Judicial Council (SJC) was held here in-camera at the Supreme Court, chaired by Chief Justice Gulzar Ahmed.
Similarly, Attorney General Khalid Javed and Muhammad Saeed Zafar, the complainant, also appeared before the SJC on notices. Khalid Javed assisted the SJC as to whether the council could proceed on the complaint of misconduct against the NAB chairman or not.
