Stolen
July 02, 2021
This refers to the news report ‘1,000 Schengen visa stickers stolen from Italian embassy in Pakistan’ (June 29). It was really alarming to read about this recent theft. The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) should take notice of this issue urgently. Italy has become one of the top destinations for Pakistani students. Such incidents are likely to create problems for people who will apply for student visas.
The government has to take immediate steps to catch those who are involved in this theft. What will hundreds of students do if Italian authorities decide to stop the issuance of visa for a short time?
