This refers to the letter ‘Power and abuse’ (June 24) by Asad Paracha. The writer has rightly described the present’s situation in the country. Last year, the federal government approved the Anti-Rape Ordinance 2020 which was a commendable step. During his interview with the foreign journalist, the PM should have talked about this ordinance.
Only the strict implementation of the anti-rape ordinance will result in a considerable reduction in the number of rape cases.
