LAHORE:Finance and Planning Committee of Lahore College for Women University (LCWU) has proposed a total budget of Rs2.1 billion for the fiscal year 2021-22 with an increase of Rs8 million to the university’s scholarship funds. According to a press release, on the direction of LCWU Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Bushra Mirza, the total amount of scholarship has been increased from Rs22 million to Rs30 million. The VC said that the Finance and Planning Committee had proposed a total budget of Rs2.1 billion for the fiscal year 2021-22. She added that research grants had also been significantly increased. She told that as soon as the notification was received, the increase in salaries and disparity allowance announced by the government would also be awarded to the university employees.
