KARACHI: World Group CEO Shahzaib Trunkwala has congratulated Gilgit-Baltistan for their victory against Karachi in a football game played in Hunza.
“The small-sided exhibition match was arranged to mark Leisure Leagues presence in every corner of the country,” said Shahzaib Trunkwala, who is also the Vice President of International Socca Federation (ISF). “It will also mark resumption of our events post pandemic,” he added.
World Group owns Leisure Leagues franchise, which organises small-sided football games, especially six-a-side matches played on smaller pitches.
Leisure Leagues Pakistan sent top Pakistan football clubs to represent the country in Socca World Cup in 2018 and 2019.
